Tobias and the Super Spooky Ghost book was my first ever picture book, and I'm still very proud of it. The artwork looks fresh and unique, even seven years after I made it. Perhaps it's not the most 'picture-book-y' style, but there is something that I really like about it. I keep waiting for a suitable project to work on so I can return to the digital photo-montage style of Tobias and A Home for Mr Tipps.

I've included a section of images here, some of which didn't appear in the book and were done as development work, you know, like a DVD extra. Except this isn't a DVD, and I probably should have said Blu-ray... Still, you know what I mean.

  • Was just googling this book to see if there were any more by yourself. Both me and my Daughters (5 year old and 11 months) absolutely love this book! Iespec love the illustrations and their colours.
Always one my eldest wants to read first and has just done a homework piece on it for her “favourite book”.
It read “I like this book because I like Eliza and the cat. Tobias plays tricks on Eliza but they become friends in the end”.
Thank you for giving us alot of giggles throughout the past year of having this book :)

    • Hi there,

Thanks for dropping me a line! I’m so glad that you’ve not only found Tobias, but have enjoyed it so much. That was my first picture book and I’m really fond of it. And hopefully you’ve found a few of my other books on here too! I like your daughter’s review, full marks to her!

BTW. I’ve just finished a new book with a night-time feel to it, so you might like that. It’s called By the Light of the Moon. Here’s a little animation I made to help promote it…

      All the best,

      Tom.
